Back from India, the vibrant colours of women in sari blending with spices and fragrant bougainvilleas inspired me to create this series about flowers.
Newly born flowers, faded, dried, blue flower, flower, powerful symbol of femininity, printed on the wallpapers of my childhood, films of the 60s, tapestries and medieval icons, millefiori carpets covering the Garden of Eden in ancient frescoes.
