This silkscreen was composed from the original drawings of the Huppes fasciées, made for the poster of the 8th Festival Musique en chemin. I printed them by hand in the Sarant (Gers) workshop.
In my garden in the South-West of France, the Huppes fasciées come back every spring. Behind the windows of the studio, I observe the feather fans, the scene of nuptial parades consisting of chases, food offerings and songs used by the males to charm the females. They accompany me until September before leaving for Africa,
