Based on the original canvas Vines (Fall), from the XXL series Les Saisons (210x250 cm). Green woven vines around the branches which lose their foliage in the fall, I observe through the glass roof of my workshop, the vines turning red, ocher, vermilion, brick, terracotta. Wells of light like cascades of late flowers play on the verticality of the canvas, while the vine climbs, and always seeks to rise.
